Hello Lambing Season!
Is it Spring yet? With such a warm winter and an early lambing season, it sure does feel like Spring at Harvey Ranch. In February we started lambing and with an intense season nearly behind us, it feels good to take a breath. We have been blessed with ninety-two lambs so far! We’re very hopeful the late season lambs will be just as healthy as the early season ones are.
Meet Our Girls
Martie and Marley 2020
With each season of lambing there always seems to be a bummer lamb or two....Meet Martie and Marley! Martie is a cute little thing with a lot of personality and fight in her. She was born with a bum leg and injured during birth. She can’t see more than four feet in front of her, but none of that slows her down. Martie needs some extra care and won’t be able to return to her mother, but something tells us she’s very content living the life of a bottle baby.

Marley is a sweet little girl full of love and spunk. She was born as a triplet and her mother was unable to care for her. Marley was very timid at first, but she is finding a new love and companionship in the bottle baby life. Marley has become best friends with her new sister, Martie, and cares for her immensely.
Seeing the inseparable pair overcome so many milestones is absolutely heartwarming. These two sweethearts will be given a milk replacement supplement until they’re five months old. The girls will then be given a diet of alfalfa and pasture. We are so excited to watch these girls grow and become a part of the herd!
Family Fun at Harvey Ranch
Join us on April 4, 2020 for family fun! We’ve partnered with Brittney Donney Photography, Magnolia Mums, and Millie’s Ice Cream and Coffee Co to create an exciting Easter family photo session. The event will be held at Harvey Ranch. Sample pizza and chocolate dipped Oreos, experience gorgeous floral arrangements, feel the magic and meet Martie and Marley!
