Our Affiliations

The Natural Colored Wool Growers Association (NCWGA) is a nationwide non-profit organization of sheep breeders, fiber artists and others with an interest in colored wool. It was founded in 1977. They have set the standards for black, brown, gray and multi-colored sheep & wool. The organization serves its members by helping them develop, improve and promote colored sheep and wool.
California Wool Growers Association (CWGA) is the voice of the California Sheep Industry at the local, regional, state and national level. The association will provide a service to its members through effective communication that ensures the long term prosperity of the industry and promotes economically viable and environmentally sound production practices.
Carson Sierra Spinners and Weavers aim is to promote appreciation and knowledge of the fiber arts in our community through demonstrations at schools, fairs and other community events. We provide a support network for fiber artists and enthusiasts in our area. We aim to keep the fiber arts alive by encouraging others to take up spinning and weaving and we support local fiber-related causes.
