Lacey is a morit Rambouillet ewe. Her fleece is a warm light morit color. Her fleece has a staple length of 4.25 inches and a weight of 7.4 pounds. Lacey is quite the fierce mother. We once witnessed her chase the dogs around the manure pile and all the way to the big barn because they got too close to her lamb. She really enjoys people but we’ve learned that if you’re standing between her and the dogs when she has a baby on the ground you may get trampled. Lacey enjoys a good neck scratch as long as there aren’t any dogs around. We’ve given her the nickname “lambbaster”, she’s definitely earned it!
